     Lady Margaret Home was the daughter of Alexander Home, 1st Earl of Home and Mary Dudley.2,1 A contract for the marriage of Lady Margaret Home and James Stuart, 4th Earl of Moray was signed on 18 October 1627.3 She died in 1683.4
     Her married name became Stuart. After her marriage, Lady Margaret Home was styled as Countess of Moray on 6 August 1638.

     James Stuart, 4th Earl of Moray was the son of James Stuart, 3rd Earl of Moray and Lady Anne Gordon.1 A contract for the marriage of James Stuart, 4th Earl of Moray and Lady Margaret Home was signed on 18 October 1627.1 He died on 4 March 1653.1
     He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in February 1637/38.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Saint Colme [S., 1620] on 6 August 1638.1 He succeeded as the 4th Lord Doune [S., 1581] on 6 August 1638.1 He succeeded as the 4th Lord Abernethy [S., 1562] on 6 August 1638.1 He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Moray [S., 1562] on 6 August 1638.1 He succeeded as the 4th Lord Strathdearn [S., 1563] on 6 August 1638.1

Lady Anne, Duchess of Lauderdale

     Lady Anne Home was the daughter of Alexander Home, 1st Earl of Home and Mary Dudley.1 She married John Maitland, 1st and last Duke of Lauderdale, son of John Maitland, 1st Earl of Lauderdale and Lady Isabel Seton, between August 1632 and September 1632.1 She died in 1671.3
     From between August 1632 and September 1632, her married name became Maitland.1 After her marriage, Lady Anne Home was styled as Countess of Lauderdale on 16 January 1645.

John Maitland, 2nd Earl of Lauderdale

     John Maitland, 1st and last Duke of Lauderdale was born on 24 May 1616.1 He was the son of John Maitland, 1st Earl of Lauderdale and Lady Isabel Seton.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Murray, Countess of Dysart, daughter of William Murray, 1st Earl of Dysart and Catherine Bruce, on 17 February 1671/72.4 He married, firstly, Lady Anne Home, daughter of Alexander Home, 1st Earl of Home and Mary Dudley, between August 1632 and September 1632.4 He died on 24 August 1682 at age 66, without male issue.1
     He was a Covenanter before 1643.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Maitland of Thirlestane, [S., 1590] on 18 January 1645.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Lauderdale [S., 1624] on 18 January 1645.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Maitland [S., 1624] on 18 January 1645.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Thirlestane and Boltoun [S., 1624] on 18 January 1645.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount of Lauderdale [S., 1616] on 18 January 1645.1 Between 1650 and 1659 he was held in the Tower of London, and other prisons.1 He fought in the Battle of Worcester in 1651, where he was captured by the English.1 He held the office of Gentleman of teh Bedchamber between 1660 and 1673.1 He held the office of Secretary of State [Scotland] between 1661 and 1680.1 He held the office of Extraordinary Lord of Session between 1661 and 1682.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] in January 1660/61.1 He held the office of Commissioner of Treasury [Scotland] between 1667 and 1682.1 On 16 September 1667 he procured a regrant of his titles with remainder to his daughter Mary but with teh power to rescind this regrant, which he exercised in 1675, changing the remainders back to the original heirs male.1 He held the office of High Commissioner of Parliament [Scotland] between 1669 and 1674.1 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) in 1672.1 He held the office of President of the Council [Scotland] between 1672 and 1678.1 He was created 1st Viscount Maitland [Scotland] on 26 March 1672.1 He was created 1st Lord Thurlestane, Musselburgh and Boultoun [Scotland] on 26 March 1672.1 He was created 1st Earl of Lauderdale [Scotland] on 26 March 1672.1 He was created 1st Duke of Lauderdale [Scotland] on 26 March 1672.1 He was created 1st Marquess of March [Scotland] on 26 March 1672.1 He was created 1st Baron Petersham, co. Surrey [England] on 25 June 1674.1 He was created 1st Earl of Guilford, co. Surrey [England] on 25 June 1674.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1679.1 In 1680 He was one of King Charles II's inner circle, known as the CABAL (he was the L for Lauderdale.)1 On his death, his titles of 1674 and 1672 became extinct.1

     Hans Meinhardt Graf von Schönberg auf Wesel was born on 28 August 1582 at Bacharach, GermanyG.2 He was the son of Meinhard I Freiherr von Schönberg auf Wesel and Dorothea Riedesel zu Bellersheim.2 He married Anne Dudley, daughter of Edward Dudley, 5th Baron Dudley and Theodosia Harington, on 22 March 1615 at London, England.1 He died on 3 August 1616 at age 33 at Heidelberg, GermanyG.2
     He gained the title of Comte de Schomberg. He was Envoy of Brandenburg.1
