Lt.-Col. North Ludlow Beamish was born on 29 December 1796.1 He was the son of William Beamish and Anne Jane Margaret Delacour.1 He married Aline Marie Forsstrom, daughter of Reverend John Eric Forsstrom, on 27 May 1841.1 He died on 28 April 1872 at age 75.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Dragoon Guards.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Lota Park, Lota More, County Cork, IrelandG.1 He was appointed Knight, Hanoverian Order (K.H.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel, à la suite in the Hanoverian Service.1 He held the office of High Sheriff in 1855.1 He wrote military books.1 He lived at Anne Mount, Caherlag, County Cork, IrelandG.1
