     Sir William Cusack-Smith, 2nd Bt. was born on 23 January 1766.² He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Michael Smith, 1st Bt. and Mary Anne Cusack.² He married Hester Berry, daughter of Thomas Berry, on 13 August 1787.² He died on 21 August 1836 at age 70.²
     He was given the name of William Smith at birth.² He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He graduated from Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lanesborough between 1794 and 1797.² In 1798 his name was legally changed to William Cusack-Smith by Royal Licence.² He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)² He held the office of Solicitor-General from 1800 to 1801.² He held the office of Baron of the Court of the Exchequer in Ireland between 1801 and 1836.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Smith, of Newton, King's County [I., 1799] on 17 December 1808.²

     Rachel Norris is the daughter of Professor James Norris and Rev. Dr. Julie Norris.¹
     From 29 July 2017, her married name became Colquhoun.¹

     Rose Leslie was born in 1651.² She was the daughter of William Leslie and Mary Echlin.^1,3 She married Sir Robert Colville.¹ She died in 1693.²

     John Smith-Barry was born on 25 September 1818.¹ He was the son of John Smith-Barry and Eliza Mary Courtenay.¹ He was buried on 9 April 1834.¹

     Captain Robert Hugh Smith-Barry was born on 13 January 1820.¹ He was the son of John Smith-Barry and Eliza Mary Courtenay.¹ He died on 25 April 1849 at age 29, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 10th Hussars.¹

     Captain Richard Hugh Smith-Barry was born on 21 February 1823.¹ He was the son of John Smith-Barry and Eliza Mary Courtenay.¹ He married Georgina Charlotte Grey, daughter of Colonel J. Grey, on 18 April 1850.¹ He died on 23 January 1894 at age 70.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 12th Lancers.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Cork.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire.¹ He held the office of sometime Admiral, Royal Cork Yacht Club.¹ He lived at Ballyedmond, Midleton, County Cork, Ireland^G, in which he succeeded his uncle John Courtenay.¹

     Georgina Charlotte Grey was the daughter of Colonel J. Grey.¹ She married Captain Richard Hugh Smith-Barry, son of John Smith-Barry and Eliza Mary Courtenay, on 18 April 1850.¹ She died on 9 September 1893.¹
     From 18 April 1850, her married name became Smith-Barry.¹

     Colonel J. Grey lived at Blackford Hall, Northumberland, England^G.¹

     Robert Courtenay Smith-Barry was born on 19 February 1858.¹ He was the son of Captain Richard Hugh Smith-Barry and Georgina Charlotte Grey.¹ He died unmarried.¹
     He lived at Ballyedmond, Midleton, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Cecil Arthur Smith-Barry was born on 19 October 1863.¹ He was the son of Captain Richard Hugh Smith-Barry and Georgina Charlotte Grey.¹ He married Mary Barry, daughter of William Henry Barry and Pauline Roche, they were the parents of two daughters.¹ He died on 21 November 1908 at age 45.¹
