Sir Christopher Chevers was the son of Sir Walter Chevers and Eleanor St. Lawrence.2 He married, firstly, Maude Kelly, daughter of Walter Kelly.2 He married, secondly, Anne Plunkett.2 He died on 20 March 1581.2
He acquired the estates of Macetown, County Meath, rathmore, County Wickow and large estates in Counties Kildarea nd Carlow through his second wife.2 He acquired the Lordship of Tartaya, County Meath.2 He lived at Macetown, County Meath, IrelandG.1 He lived at Ballyhaly, County Wexford, IrelandG.1 He lived at Ballycullen, County Wexford, IrelandG.1 He was appointed Knight in 1566.2 He was Commissioner for Muster of County Wexford in 1579.2
