     From 2 June 1894, her married name became Atkinson.1

     James Netterville Atkinson was born on 1 March 1843.1 He was the son of George Guy Atkinson and Bridget Murphy.1 He married Margaret Teresa Smithwick, daughter of William Bleasby Smithwick, on 30 September 1875.1 He died on 22 May 1893 at age 50.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, in 1863 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of High Sheriff in 1892.1 He lived at Ashley Park, Nenagh, County Tipperary, IrelandG.1

     Alice Marjory Atkinson was born on 26 May 1882.1 She was the daughter of James Netterville Atkinson and Margaret Teresa Smithwick.1 She married Captain Thomas Bateson Biggs-Atkinson, son of Samuel Dickson Biggs, on 9 September 1903, they were without issue.1 She died on 11 May 1919 at age 36.1
     She lived at Ashley Park, Nenagh, County Tipperary, IrelandG.1 From 9 September 1903, her married name became Biggs.1 From 18 November 1903, her married name became Biggs-Atkinson.1

Captain Thomas Bateson Biggs-Atkinson1

     Captain Thomas Bateson Biggs-Atkinson was the son of Samuel Dickson Biggs.1 He married, firstly, Alice Marjory Atkinson, daughter of James Netterville Atkinson and Margaret Teresa Smithwick, on 9 September 1903, they were without issue.1 He died on 5 August 1945.1
     He was given the name of Captain Thomas Bateson Biggs at birth.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion Royal Irish Regiment.1 He was a practising Solicitor.1 On 18 November 1903 his name was legally changed to Captain Thomas Bateson Biggs-Atkinson when he assumed the additional name of Atkinson by Deed Poll.1
