     Henry Thomas Cary, 8th Viscount of Falkland was born on 27 February 1766.¹ He was the son of Lucius Ferdinand Cary, Master of Falkland and Anna Maria Leith.¹ He died on 28 May 1796 at age 30, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 8th Lord Carye [S., 1620] on 27 February 1785.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Viscount of Falkland, of Falkland, co. Fife [S., 1620] on 27 February 1785.¹

     Captain Charles John Cary, 9th Viscount of Falkland was born in November 1768.¹ He was the son of Lucius Ferdinand Cary, Master of Falkland and Anna Maria Leith.¹ He was baptised on 14 January 1769 at Iwerne-Minster, Dorset, England.² He married Christiana Anton on 25 August 1802.¹ He died on 2 March 1809 at age 40, mortally wounded in a duel with Arthur Powell two days later.¹
     He succeeded as the 9th Viscount of Falkland, of Falkland, co. Fife [S., 1620] on 28 May 1796.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Lord Carye [S., 1620] on 28 May 1796.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹

     Christiana Anton married Captain Charles John Cary, 9th Viscount of Falkland, son of Lucius Ferdinand Cary, Master of Falkland and Anna Maria Leith, on 25 August 1802.¹ She died on 25 July 1822.¹
     After her marriage, Christiana Anton was styled as Viscountess Falkland on 25 August 1802. From 25 August 1802, her married name became Cary.

     Lucius William Charles Frederick Cary, Master of Falkland was born on 24 November 1831.² He was the son of Lucius Bentinck Cary, 10th Viscount of Falkland and Lady Amelia Fitz-Clarence.¹ He married Sarah Christiana Keighly, daughter of Major Henry Peach Keighly, on 11 May 1858.² He died on 6 August 1871 at age 39, without issue.¹
     He was styled as Master of Falkland.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the West Riding, Yorkshire.²

     Sarah Christiana Keighly was the daughter of Major Henry Peach Keighly.¹ She married, firstly, Lucius William Charles Frederick Cary, Master of Falkland, son of Lucius Bentinck Cary, 10th Viscount of Falkland and Lady Amelia Fitz-Clarence, on 11 May 1858.¹ She married, secondly, Colonel Boyle Vandeleur, son of Reverend William Vandeleur, on 8 February 1876.¹ She died on 4 October 1902.¹
     From 11 May 1858, her married name became Cary. From 8 February 1876, her married name became Vandeleur.

     Major Henry Peach Keighly was Judge Advocote-General, Madras Army.¹ He lived at Idlecote House, Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire, England.¹

     Colonel Boyle Vandeleur was the son of Reverend William Vandeleur.¹ He married Sarah Christiana Keighly, daughter of Major Henry Peach Keighly, on 8 February 1876.¹ He died on 12 April 1898.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 5th Lancers.¹

     Reverend William Vandeleur was the Vicar at Julianstown, County Meath, Ireland^G.¹

     Admiral Plantagenet Pierrepont Cary, 11th Viscount of Falkland was born on 8 September 1806.¹ He was the son of Captain Charles John Cary, 9th Viscount of Falkland and Christiana Anton.¹ He married Mary Anne Maubert, daughter of John Francis Maubert and Mary Anne Moore, on 27 April 1853.¹ He died on 1 February 1886 at age 79, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Admiral in 1870 in the Royal Navy.¹ He succeeded as the 11th Lord Carye [S., 1620] on 12 March 1884.¹ He gained the title of 11th Viscount of Falkland, of Falkland, co. Fife [S., 1620] on 12 March 1884.¹

     Mary Anne Maubert was baptised on 12 June 1818 at Tottenham, London, England.² She was the daughter of John Francis Maubert and Mary Anne Moore.^1,2 She married Admiral Plantagenet Pierrepont Cary, 11th Viscount of Falkland, son of Captain Charles John Cary, 9th Viscount of Falkland and Christiana Anton, on 27 April 1853.¹ She died on 2 January 1863 at age 44.¹
     Her married name became Cary.
