Admiral Charles Bayley Calmady Dent was baptised on 9 May 1832 at Plymouth, Devon, England.2 He was the son of Rear-Admiral Charles Calmady Dent and Eliza Jorden Shepherd.2,3 He married Corinna Kourkoumelles, daughter of Sir Demetrios Kourkoumelles, on 6 August 1863 at Kensington Palace Church, London, England.3 He died on 20 March 1894 at age 61 at Chester, Cheshire, England.3
He was Marine Superintendent for the London North Western Wailway at Holyhead, Isle of Anglesey, Wales.3 He retired from the military on 16 December 1865, late of the Royal Navy.3 He retired from the military in 1893, with the rank of Admiral.3

Thomas Rhodes Armitage was born on 2 April 1824.1 He was the son of James Armitage and Anne Elizabeth Rhodes.1 He married Harriet Black, daughter of Stanley Black, on 29 November 1860.1 He died on 23 October 1890 at age 66.1
