     Reverend Joshua Anderson was born on 8 December 1770.1 He was the son of James Anderson and Susanna Paul.1 He married Anne Perceval, daughter of Captain William Perceval, on 1 October 1807.1 He died on 6 April 1859 at age 88.1
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was the Rector of Myshall at County Carlow.1 As of 1838, Reverend Joshua Anderson was considered the head of the Anderson family, succeeding his brother, James Anderson.1 He lived at Grace Dieu, Clogheen, County Waterford, IrelandG.1
