Frank Henry Burnell-Nugent and Ellen Mary Burnell, on 11 June 1941.1 She died in 2002 at Wiltshire, England.2
     From 11 June 1941, her married name became Burnell-Nugent.1

     Commander Anthony Frank Burnell-Nugent was born on 9 July 1906.2 He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Frank Henry Burnell-Nugent and Ellen Mary Burnell.1,2 He married Gian Mary Alexander, daughter of Rear-Admiral Charles Otway Alexander and Antonia Marie Geermans, on 11 June 1941.1 He died on 21 August 1976 at age 70 at Darlington, County Durham, England.3,2
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) in 1939.1 He fought in the Second World War, and was mentioned in despatches.2 He retired from the military, with the rank of Commander, late of the Royal Navy.1 Commander Anthony Frank Burnell-Nugent lived at Stutton Manor, Suffolk, EnglandG, (near Ipswich.)1

     Brig.-Gen. Frank Henry Burnell-Nugent was born on 5 September 1880.2,3 He was the son of Albert Llewellyn Nugent, 3rd Baron Nugent and Elizabeth Baltazzi.2 He married Ellen Mary Burnell, daughter of Thomas Coke Burnell, on 25 September 1905.2 He died on 12 March 1942 at age 61.2
     He was given the name of Frank Henry Nugent at birth.2 He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He fought in the Boer War, where he was wounded.2 He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1916.1 In 1916 his name was legally changed to Frank Henry Burnell-Nugent by Deed Poll.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.1 He fought in the Iraq Rebellion in 1920.2 He was Brigadier of the Tientsin area, North China between 1930 and 1933.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1933.1 He gained the rank of Brigader-General in the Rifle Brigade.1 He lived at The Old Brewery House, Kingsclere, Hampshire, EnglandG.1
