Emily Louisa Jane Alexander was born on 19 August 1850.1 She was the daughter of Henry Alexander and Lady Louisa Juliana Knox.1 She married Colonel Arthur Melvill Hogg, son of Charles Hogg, on 25 March 1874, leaving issue.1 She died on 23 August 1900 at age 50.1
