     Robert Low Bacon was born on 23 July 1884 at Jamaica Plains, Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.² He was the son of Colonel Robert Bacon.² He married Virginia Murray, daughter of Henry Alexander Murray and Fanny Morris Babcock, in 1913.¹ He died on 12 September 1938 at age 54 at Lake Succcess, Nassau County, New York, U.S.A.^G.^1,2
     He graduated from Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G, in 1907 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He graduated from Harvard Law School, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G, in 1910.² He was with the U.S. Treasury Department between 1910 and 1911.² He was a banker between 1911 and 1922 at New York City, New York, U.S.A.^G.² He fought in the First World War between 1917 and 1919.² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal (D.S.M.) U.S.² He gained the rank of Major.² He held the office of Member of the House of Representatives [U.S.] between 1922 and 1938.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in January 1923 in the Field Artillery Reserve Corps, U.S. Army.^1,2

     Alexandra Murray Bacon was born on 4 March 1914.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Low Bacon and Virginia Murray.¹ She died in December 1935 at age 21, without issue.¹
