     Sir Moyle Finch, 1st Bt. was born circa 1550.2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Finch and Catherine Moyle.3 He married Elizabeth Heneage, Countess of Winchilsea, daughter of Sir Thomas Heneage and Anne Poyntz, before 1573.2 He died on 18 December 1614.2
     He was admitted to Gray's Inn.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Weymouth between 1575 and 1583.2 He held the office of Deputy Treasurer at Wars.2 He was appointed Knight in 1584.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1588/89 in the Foot Regiment, during the threat of the Spanish Armada.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kent in 1593.2 He held the office of Sheriff of Kent from 1596 to 1597.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Winchelsea in 1601.2 He held the office of Sheriff of Kent from 1606 to 1607.2 He was created 1st Baronet Finch, of Eastwell, Kent [England] on 29 June 1611.2

Elizabeth, Countess of Winchilsea 1
     Elizabeth Heneage, Countess of Winchilsea was born on 9 July 1556.1 She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Heneage and Anne Poyntz.2 She married Sir Moyle Finch, 1st Bt., son of Sir Thomas Finch and Catherine Moyle, before 1573.2 She died on 23 March 1633/34 at age 77.2
     Her married name became Finch. She was created 1st Viscountess of Maidstone [England] on 8 July 1623, with special remainder to the heirs male of her body.2 She was created 1st Countess of Winchilsea [England] on 11 July 1628, with special remainder to the heirs male of her body.2

     Sir Theophilus Finch, 2nd Bt. was born on 2 October 1573.1 He was the son of Sir Moyle Finch, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Heneage, Countess of Winchilsea.1 He married Agnes Heydon, daughter of Sir Christopher Heydon and Agnes Crane, on 16 July 1596.1 He died circa 1620.1 He was buried on 16 February 1620/21.
     He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was appointed Knight in 1599 in Ireland.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Great Yarmouth in 1614.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Finch, of Eastwell, Kent [E., 1611] on 18 December 1614.1

Agnes Heydon1

     Agnes Heydon was the daughter of Sir Christopher Heydon and Agnes Crane.1,2 She married Sir Theophilus Finch, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Moyle Finch, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Heneage, Countess of Winchilsea, on 16 July 1596.1 She died in 1620/21. She was buried on 16 February 1620/21.
     Her married name became Finch.

     Sir Christopher Heydon was born in 1518/19.2 He was the son of Sir Christopher Heydon and Anne Heveningham.2 He married, firstly, Anne Drury, daughter of Sir William Drury, before 1540.2 He married, secondly, Termperance Carew, daughter of Sir Wymond Carew, in 1563.2 He married, thirdly, Agnes Crane, daughter of Robert Crane and Bridget Jermyn, in 1578.2 He died on 10 December 1579.2
     He lived at Baconsthorpe, Norfolk, England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Norfolk in 1545.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk between 1547 and 1579.2 He was appointed Knight in 1549.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Norfolk in 1571.2

     Sir Heneage Finch was born on 15 December 1580.2 He was the son of Sir Moyle Finch, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Heneage, Countess of Winchilsea.3 He married, firstly, Frances Bell, daughter of Sir Edmund Bell, after 1607.2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Cradock, daughter of William Cradock, on 16 April 1629.2 He died on 5 December 1631 at age 50.3
     He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Rye on 20 December 1607.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for West Looe in 1621.2 He held the office of Recorder of the City of London.3 He was appointed Knight on 22 June 1623.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for London between 1624 and 1626.2 He held the office of Speaker of the House of Commons.3 He held the office of Serjeant-at-Arms of the House of Commons.3
     He had six other sons and three other daughters.3

Frances Bell1

     Frances Bell was the daughter of Sir Edmund Bell.1 She married Sir Heneage Finch, son of Sir Moyle Finch, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Heneage, Countess of Winchilsea, after 1607.2 She died on 11 April 1627.1
     From after 1607, her married name became Finch.2

     Sir Richard Berney, 1st Bt. was the son of Sir Thomas Berney and Juliana Gawdy.1 He married Anne Smallpage, daughter of Michael Smallpage.2 He died in 1668.2 His will was proven (by probate) on 21 January 1669.2
     He was created 1st Baronet Berney, of Parkehall in Redham, co. Norfolk [England] on 3 May 1620.2 He held the office of Sheriff of Norfolk from 1622 to 1623.2
