     Rosemary Anne Cooper was born on 21 August 1920.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Beauchamp Astley Cooper and Louisa Maude White.2 She married Lt.-Col. Peter Jarret Lewis, son of Major Ernest Hastings Lewis, on 21 September 1946.1 She died on 6 January 2011 at age 90.3
     From 21 September 1946, her married name became Lewis. She lived in 2003 at Thedwastre, Thurston, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, EnglandG.1

     Lt.-Col. Peter Jarret Lewis was the son of Major Ernest Hastings Lewis.2 He married Rosemary Anne Cooper, daughter of Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Beauchamp Astley Cooper and Louisa Maude White, on 21 September 1946.1 He died in 1983.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the The Buffs.1

     He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1984.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1993.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1998.1

     Clement Paston Astley Cooper was born on 30 May 1845.1 He was the son of Sir Astley Paston Cooper, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Harriet Rickford.2 He married Evangeline Julia Marshall, daughter of George Marshall and Elizabeth Helen Gore, on 10 July 1877 at All Saints, St. Marylebone, London, England.1 He died on 12 February 1927 at age 81.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 29th Foot.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hertfordshire.1
