     Sir Frederick John Charles Gordon Hervey-Bathurst, 7th Bt. was born on 23 April 1934. He was the son of Sir Frederick Peter Methuen Hervey-Bathurst, 6th Bt. and Maureen Gladys Diana Gordon.² He married Caroline Myrtle Starkey, daughter of Sir William Randle Starkey, 2nd Bt. and Irene Myrtle Francklin, on 7 December 1957.² He died on 5 December 2011 at age 77.³

     Sophia Selina Irene Hervey-Bathurst was born on 28 April 1961.² She is the daughter of Sir Frederick John Charles Gordon Hervey-Bathurst, 7th Bt. and Caroline Myrtle Starkey.² She married Henry Nicholas Almroth Colthurst, son of Sir Richard La Touche Colthurst, 9th Bt. and Janet Georgina Wilson-Wright, on 5 June 1982.¹
     From 5 June 1982, her married name became Colthurst.¹ She lived in 2003 at Asserton House, Berwick St. James, Wiltshire, England^G.²
