John Fielder Mackarness.² She married Bernard John Seymour Coleridge, 2nd Baron Coleridge of Ottery St. Mary, son of John Duke Coleridge, 1st Baron Coleridge of Ottery St. Mary and Jane Fortescue Seymour, on 3 August 1876.¹ She died on 2 April 1940.¹
     From 3 August 1876, her married name became Coleridge. After her marriage, Mary Alethea Mackarness was styled as Baron Coleridge of Ottery St. Mary on 14 June 1894.

     Geoffrey Duke Coleridge, 3rd Baron Coleridge of Ottery St. Mary was born on 23 July 1877.¹ He was the son of Bernard John Seymour Coleridge, 2nd Baron Coleridge of Ottery St. Mary and Mary Alethea Mackarness.² He married Jessie Alethea Mackarness, daughter of George Evelyn Mackarness, on 14 September 1904.¹ He died on 27 March 1955 at age 77.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1900 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1920 in the Devonshire Regiment.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Coleridge of Ottery St. Mary, co. Devon [U.K., 1874] on 24 September 1927.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon in 1929.¹

     Hon. Audrey Jane Coleridge was born on 4 October 1878.¹ She was the daughter of Bernard John Seymour Coleridge, 2nd Baron Coleridge of Ottery St. Mary and Mary Alethea Mackarness.² She died on 22 August 1922 at age 43.¹

     From 14 September 1904, her married name became Coleridge. After her marriage, Jessie Alethea Mackarness was styled as Baroness Coleridge of Ottery St. Mary on 24 September 1927.

     Captain Richard Duke Coleridge, 4th Baron Coleridge of Ottery St. Mary was born on 24 September 1905.² He was the son of Geoffrey Duke Coleridge, 3rd Baron Coleridge of Ottery St. Mary and Jessie Alethea Mackarness.² He married Cecilia Rosamund Fisher, daughter of Admiral Sir William Wordsworth Fisher and Cecilia Warre-Cornish, on 28 August 1936.² He died on 20 May 1984 at age 78.^2,3
