     Brig.-Gen. Edward Murray Colston, 2nd Baron Roundway was born on 31 December 1880.1 He was the son of Charles Edward Hungerford Atholl Colston, 1st Baron Roundway and Rosalind Emma Murray.1 He married Blanche Gladys Duddell, daughter of George Duddell, on 28 April 1904.1 He died on 29 March 1944 at age 63.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of officer in 1900 in the Grenadier Guards.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902, Where he was wounded.1 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1908.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1908.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1919, where he was wounded and mentioned in despatches five times.1 He gained the rank of Major in 1915.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1916.1 He gained the rank of Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel in 1917.1 He was Brigadier-General of the 233rd Infantry Brigade between 1917 and 1919.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1918.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1919.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1924.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Roundway, of Devizes, co. Wiltshire [U.K., 1916] on 17 June 1925.1 He retired from the military in 1932, with the rank of Brigadier-General.1 On his death, his title became extinct.1

     Edward Francis Colston was born on 15 April 1795.1 He was the son of Edward Francis Colston and Arabella Clayfield.2 He married Marianne Jenkins, daughter of William Jenkins, on 1 November 1819.2 He died on 9 April 1847 at age 51.1
     He lived at Roundway Park, Wiltshire, EnglandG.2 He lived at Filkin's Hall, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.2

     Reverend Alexander Colston is the son of Alexander Colston and Sophia Edwards.2 He married, firstly, Louisa Minshull Elers, daughter of Paul George Elers.3 He married, secondly, Susannah Hook, daughter of Reverend unknown Hook.3
     He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1753 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)3 He was the Rector at Henbury, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.3 He lived at Filkin's Hall, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.3 Reference: the Rector at Broadwell, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.3 He had three other sons and two other daughters by his first wife.3
