Sir William Cleaver Francis Robinson was born on 14 January 1834.1 He was the son of Admiral Hercules Robinson and Frances Elizabeth Wildman-Wood.1 He married Olivia Edith Dean Townsend, daughter of Most Rev. Thomas Stewart Townsend, on 7 April 1862.1 He died on 2 May 1897 at age 63.1

Vice-Admiral Frederick Charles Robinson was born in 1836.1 He was the son of Admiral Hercules Robinson and Frances Elizabeth Wildman-Wood.1 He married, firstly, Williamina Bradley, daughter of William Bradley and Emily Esther Hovell, in 1864.1 He married, secondly, Alice Frances Tew, daughter of Lt.-Col. Cyril Blackburne Tew and Harriet Salisbury Rothe, in 1889.2 He died in 1896.1
