     Hon. Violet Frances Monckton was born on 14 May 1880.2 She was the daughter of George Edward Milnes Monckton-Arundell, 7th Viscount Galway and Vere Gosling.1 She married Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Henry Julian fitzPatrick, son of Edward Randal Skeffington-Smyth, on 7 July 1904.2 She died on 24 October 1930 at age 50.1
     From 7 July 1904, her married name became Skeffington Smyth.1 She was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)1

     Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Henry Julian fitzPatrick was the son of Edward Randal Skeffington-Smyth.2 He married, firstly, Hon. Violet Frances Monckton, daughter of George Edward Milnes Monckton-Arundell, 7th Viscount Galway and Vere Gosling, on 7 July 1904.3 He married, secondly, Hon. Magdalen Blanche Curzon, daughter of Colonel Hon. Alfred Nathaniel Curzon and Henrietta Mary Montagu, on 26 January 1939.3 He died on 11 March 1939.3
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)3 He was given the name of Geoffrey Henry Julian Skeffington Smyth at birth.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 9th Lancers.3 In 1938 his name was legally changed to Geoffrey Henry Julian fitzPatrick by Deed Poll.3

     John Morley, 1st and last Viscount Morley of Blackburn was born on 24 December 1838.1 He was the son of Jonathan Morley and Priscilla Mary Donkin.1,2 He married Rose Mary (?)1 He died on 23 September 1923 at age 84, without issue.1
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Lincoln College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1859 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1873 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.1 He was editor of The Fortnightly Review.1 He was editor of the Pall Mall Gazette.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newcastle-on-Tyne between 1883 and 1895.1 He held the office of Chief Secretary for Ireland in 1886.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1886.1 He held the office of Chief Secretary for Ireland between 1892 and 1895.1 He held the office of Bencher of Lincoln's Inn in 1893.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Montrose Burghs between 1896 and 1908.1 He was awarded the Order of Merit (O.M.) in 1902.1 He held the office of Secretary of State for India between 1905 and 1910.1 He was created 1st Viscount Morley of Blackburn, co.      Anna Hughes was the daughter of Hon. George Henry Hughes.1 She married Michael Morris, Baron Morris, son of Martin Morris and Julia Blake, on 18 September 1860.1 She died on 17 October 1906.1
     From 18 September 1860, her married name became Morris.1 After her marriage, Anna Hughes was styled as Baroness Morris on 5 December 1889.
