     Lady Frederica Rozelle Ridgway Pierrepont was born on 17 November 1925.1 She was the daughter of Gervas Evelyn Pierrepont, 6th Earl Manvers and Marie-Louise Roosevelt Butterfield.1 She married, firstly, Major Alexander Beattie in 1953.2 She and Major Alexander Beattie were divorced in 1961.2 She married, secondly, Dr. Richard Hollings Raynes in 1965.2 She died on 22 June 2015 at age 89.2
     Lady Frederica Rozelle Ridgway Pierrepont usually went by her middle name of Rozelle.2 She gained the rank of Leading Stoker in 1943 in the Women's Royal Naval Service.1 From 1953, her married name became Beattie.2 From 1965, her married name became Raynes.2 She wrote the book North In A Nutshell, published 1968.2 She wrote the book Maid Matelot, published 1971.2 She wrote the book The Tuesday Boys, published 1991.2
