     Ethel Alice Boothby was born on 15 December 1868 at St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel Robert Tod Boothby and Madeline Condie.¹ She died on 23 January 1893 at age 24, unamrried.²

     Marjorie Brocklehurst was the daughter of Captain Henry Dent Brocklehurst and Marion Lascelles.¹ She married Michael Hugh Hicks-Beach, Viscount Quenington, son of Michael Edward Hicks-Beach, 1st Earl Saint Aldwyn and Lady Lucy Catherine Fortescue, on 28 September 1909.¹ She died on 4 March 1916.¹
     Her married name became Hicks-Beach.

     John Cator was born on 24 September 1862.² He was the son of Albemarle Cator and Mary Molesworth Cordelia Mohun-Harris.³ He married Maud Adeane, daughter of Henry John Adeane and Lady Elizabeth Philippa Yorke, on 7 October 1895.¹ He died on 27 April 1944 at age 81.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Prince of Wales's Own Norfolk Regiment.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Huntingdon, South Division between January 1910 and 1918.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Norfolk.³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk.³ He held the office of High Sheriff of Norfolk in 1920.³ He lived at Woodbastwick Hall, Norfolk, England^G.¹ He lived at Beckenham, Kent, England^G.³

     Rt. Hon. Harold John Tennant was born on 18 November 1865.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Clow Tennant of The Glen, 1st Bt. and Emma Winsloe.¹ He married, firstly, Helen Elizabeth Gordon-Duff, daughter of Lachlan Duff Gordon-Duff, 8th of Drummuir and 10th of Park and Jane Ellen Butterfield, on 1 October 1889.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret Edith Abraham, daughter of George Whitley Abraham, on 8 July 1896.¹ He died on 8 November 1935 at age 69.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was Assistant Private Secretary to the Home Secretary between 1892 and 1895.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Berwickshire between 1894 and 1918.¹ He was Parliamentary Secretary, Board of Trade between 1909 and 1911.¹ He was Finance Secretary, War Office between 1911 and 1912.¹ He held the office of Parliamentary Under-Secretary for War between 1912 and 1916.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1914.¹ He held the office of Secretary for Scotland in 1916.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Aberdeenshire.¹

     James Grant, 3rd of Freuchie was the son of John Grant, 2nd of Freuchie and Margaret Ogilvy.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Forbes, daughter of John Forbes, 6th Lord Forbes and Lady Catherine Stewart.¹ He married, secondly, Christine Barclay.¹ He died on 26 August 1553.²
     James Grant, 3rd of Freuchie also went by the nick-name of James 'Sheumas nan Creach' Grant (or in English, James of the Forays.)² He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.³
     

     Elizabeth Forbes was the daughter of John Forbes, 6th Lord Forbes and Lady Catherine Stewart. She married James Grant, 3rd of Freuchie, son of John Grant, 2nd of Freuchie and Margaret Ogilvy.¹
     Her married name became Grant.

     Robert de Tosny married Adeliza Fitzosulf le Freyne du Plessis.² He died in 1088.³
