Charles Glen MacAndrew, 1st Baron MacAndrew was born on 13 January 1888.2 He was the son of Francis Glen MacAndrew and Elizabeth Muir Graham.3 He married, firstly, Lilian Cathleen Curran, daughter of James Prendergast Curran, on 7 February 1918.2 He and Lilian Cathleen Curran were divorced in 1938.2 He married, secondly, Marion Eleanor Bonthron Mitchell, daughter of James Alexander Ralston Mitchell, on 2 February 1941.2 He died on 11 January 1979 at age 90.2
