     He was Deputy-High Steward of Oxford University.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)1 He graduated with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.)1 He lived at Rode Hall, Cheshire, England.1

     Mary Elizabeth Egerton was the daughter of William Tatton Egerton and Mary Wilbraham-Bootle.2 She married, firstly, Sir Mark Masterman-Sykes, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Christopher Sykes, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Tatton, on 2 August 1814.1 She married, secondly, Dugdale Stratford Dugdale, son of Richard Dugdale and Penelope Bate Stratford, on 16 September 1834.1 She died on 26 October 1846.1
     From 2 August 1814, her married name became Masterman-Sykes.1 From 16 September 1834, her married name became Dugdale.1

     Alan de Tatton Egerton, 3rd Baron Egerton of Tatton was born in 1845.1 He was the son of William Tatton Egerton, 1st Baron Egerton of Tatton and Lady Charlotte Elizabeth Loftus.1 He married Anna Louisa Watson-Taylor, daughter of Simon Watson-Taylor and Lady Hannah Charlotte Hay, in 1867.1 He died in 1920.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Knutsford between 1885 and 1906.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Mid-Cheshire between 1885 and 1906.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Egerton of Tatton, co. Chester [U.K., 1859] on 16 March 1909.1

     Anna Louisa Watson-Taylor was the daughter of Simon Watson-Taylor and Lady Hannah Charlotte Hay.1,2 She married Alan de Tatton Egerton, 3rd Baron Egerton of Tatton, son of William Tatton Egerton, 1st Baron Egerton of Tatton and Lady Charlotte Elizabeth Loftus, in 1867.1 She died on 22 December 1933.2
     From 1867, her married name became Egerton.1 After her marriage, Anna Louisa Watson-Taylor was styled as Baroness Egerton of Tatton on 16 March 1909.
