Anne O'Brien is the daughter of Sir Edward O'Brien, 2nd Bt. and Mary Hickman.1 She married Richard Dawson, son of Richard Dawson and Elizabeth Vesey, on 22 August 1758.1

Richard Dawson was born on 16 April 1762.1 He was the son of Richard Dawson and Anne O'Brien.1 He married Catherine Graham, daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Graham and Penelope Ligonier, on 22 May 1784.1 He died on 3 September 1807 at age 45.1
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Monaghan between 1797 and 1807.1
