     Sir George Mackenzie of Cromarty, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Kenneth Mackenzie of Grandvale and Cromarty, 1st Bt. and Anne Campbell.¹ He married Elizabeth Reid, daughter of unknown Reid, in 1742.¹ He died on 20 May 1748, without issue.¹
     He sold Cromarty to William Urquhart of Meldrum.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cromarty.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Mackenzie, of Cromarty and Grandvale [N.S., 1704] on 13 September 1728.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Mackenzie, of Roystoun, co. Edinburgh [N.S., 1704] on 9 November 1744.¹

     Elizabeth Reid was the daughter of unknown Reid.¹ She married Sir George Mackenzie of Cromarty, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Kenneth Mackenzie of Grandvale and Cromarty, 1st Bt. and Anne Campbell, in 1742.¹ She died on 24 August 1807.¹
     From 1742, her married name became Mackenzie.¹

     Captain John Reid is the son of unknown Reid.¹

     Sir Kenneth Mackenzie, 3rd/3rd Bt. was the son of Sir Kenneth Mackenzie of Grandvale and Cromarty, 1st Bt. and Anne Campbell.¹ He died on 14 September 1763, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Mackenzie, of Roystoun, co. Edinburgh [N.S., 1704] on 20 May 1748.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Mackenzie, of Cromarty and Grandvale [N.S., 1704] on 20 May 1748.¹

     Sir James Mackenzie of Roystoun, 1st Bt. was born in 1671.¹ He was the son of George Mackenzie of Tarbat, 1st Earl of Cromarty and Anne Sinclair.¹ He married Elizabeth Mackenzie, daughter of Sir George Mackenzie of Rosehaugh and Elizabeth Dickson.¹ He died on 9 November 1744.¹
     He was created 1st Baronet Mackenzie, of Roystoun, co. Edinburgh [Nova Scotia] on 8 February 1703/4.¹ He held the office of Lord of Session in 1710.¹ He was styled as Lord Roystoun in 1710.²

     Katherine Mackenzie was the daughter of Sir Kenneth Mackenzie of Grandvale and Cromarty, 1st Bt. and Anne Campbell.¹ She married, firstly, James Callander.¹ She married, secondly, Dr. Adam Murray.¹ She died on 17 June 1755.¹
     Her married name became Murray.¹ Her married name became Callander.¹

     James Callander married Katherine Mackenzie, daughter of Sir Kenneth Mackenzie of Grandvale and Cromarty, 1st Bt. and Anne Campbell.¹
