Sir Robert Erskine of that Ilk was born in 1310.2 He was the son of Sir William Erskine of that Ilk.3 He married, firstly, Beatrice de Lindsay, daughter of Sir Alexander de Lindsay.1 He married, secondly, Christian Menteith, daughter of Sir John Menteith, Lord of Arran and Helen of Mar, in 1352.3 He died in 1385.3
