     Vice-Admiral Sir Cecil Ponsonby Talbot was born on 31 August 1884.¹ He was the son of Major Francis Arthur Bouverie Talbot and Alice Mary Beatrice Lawford.¹ He married Bridget Bradshaw, daughter of Robert Bateson Dixon Bradshaw and Bridget Fisher, on 14 August 1912.¹ He died on 17 March 1970 at age 85.¹
     He was educated at Bedford School, Bedford, Bedfordshire, England.¹ He was educated at H.M.S. Britannia, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, in submarines, where he was mentioned in dispatches.¹ He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1915 and bar (1917.)¹ He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.¹ He was awarded the Bronze Medal of the Royal Humane Society.¹ He held the office of Naval Aide-de-Camp to HM King George V in 1931.¹ He was Director of Naval Equipment between 1932 and 1934.¹ He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral between 1934 and 1936 in the Submarines.¹ He was Director of Dockyards, Admiralty between 1937 and 1946.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1939.¹ He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in the Royal Navy.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1947.¹

     Bridget Bradshaw was born in 1887.² She was the daughter of Robert Bateson Dixon Bradshaw and Bridget Fisher.¹ She married Vice-Admiral Sir Cecil Ponsonby Talbot, son of Major Francis Arthur Bouverie Talbot and Alice Mary Beatrice Lawford, on 14 August 1912.¹ She died on 1 August 1960 at Penzance, Cornwall, England.¹
     Her married name became Talbot.

     Robert Bateson Dixon Bradshaw was born in December 1847 at Hornby-with-Fareton, Lancashire, England.² He was the son of James Bradshaw and Ann Dixon.² He married Bridget Fisher.² He died on 30 May 1921 at age 73 at Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, England.²

     Reginald Fitzroy Talbot was born on 21 September 1886.¹ He was the son of Major Francis Arthur Bouverie Talbot and Alice Mary Beatrice Lawford.² He married Marguerite John, daughter of Harry John, on 17 October 1913.¹ He died on 26 August 1916 at age 29, killed in action.¹
     He was manager of Bukit Jelutong Estate at Malaysia.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Flying Corps.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Marguerite John was the daughter of Harry John.¹ She married Reginald Fitzroy Talbot, son of Major Francis Arthur Bouverie Talbot and Alice Mary Beatrice Lawford, on 17 October 1913.¹ She died on 24 June 1968.¹
     Her married name became Talbot.

     Vice-Admiral Arthur George Talbot was born on 31 March 1892.¹ He was the son of George Ponsonby Talbot and Blanche Douglas.¹ He married Doris Branson, daughter of Charles Fremantle Branson and Edna M. Walker, on 7 December 1918.¹ He died on 15 October 1960 at age 68.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1939 and bar (1944.)¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches three times.¹ He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King George VI in 1943.¹ He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.¹ He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1945.¹ He was awarded the Commander, US Legion of Merit.¹ He was Head of the British Naval Mission to Greece in 1947.¹ He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in the Royal Navy.¹

     Doris Branson was born in 1898.² She was the daughter of Charles Fremantle Branson and Edna M. Walker.^1,2 She married Vice-Admiral Arthur George Talbot, son of George Ponsonby Talbot and Blanche Douglas, on 7 December 1918.¹ She died in 1972.¹
     Her married name became Talbot. She was Chief Officer, Women's Royal Naval Service.¹

     Charles Fleming Chetwynd Chetwynd-Talbot was born on 8 April 1879.¹ He was the son of Charles Alexander Price Chetwynd-Talbot and Maud Fleming.¹ He married Margaret Dorothy Huyshe, daughter of Lt.-Col. Dunbar Fraser Huyshe, on 31 December 1906.¹ He died on 8 June 1933 at age 54.¹
     He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Captain in the King's Regiment.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹
