     Kenrick Edward Clayton was born on 26 May 1881.¹ He was the son of Ernest William Clayton and Ellen Maude Tayloe.² He married Elizabeth May Phillips, daughter of James Phillips, on 2 July 1918.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 7th Battalion, Somerset Light Infantry.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.¹

     Harry Swinton Clayton was born on 27 October 1883.¹ He was the son of Ernest William Clayton and Ellen Maude Tayloe.² He died on 26 December 1904 at age 21, unmarried.¹

     Reginald Ernest Thornbury Clayton was born on 20 August 1888.¹ He was the son of Ernest William Clayton and Ellen Maude Tayloe.² He married Mabel Ward, daughter of Joseph Preston Ward, on 10 December 1925.¹ He died on 3 April 1948 at age 59.¹
     He fought in the First World War, where he was severely wounded twice.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Guernsey Artillery.¹

     Mabel Ward is the daughter of Joseph Preston Ward.² She married Reginald Ernest Thornbury Clayton, son of Ernest William Clayton and Ellen Maude Tayloe, on 10 December 1925.¹
