Elizabeth Dowling was born in 1801.2 She was the daughter of Reverend George Pyke Dowling and Anne Biggs.3,4 She married Hon. William John Turner Clarke, son of William Clarke and Sarah Turner, in May 1829.1,2 She died in 1878.2
From May 1829, her married name became Clarke. She and Hon. William John Turner Clarke emigrated to Hobart, Tasmania, AustraliaG, arriving on 23 December 1829 on board Deveron.1,2
