Ninian Lowis and Selina Caroline Shakespear.1 He married Marie Eliza Currie, daughter of Robert George Currie and Annie Flora MacKinnon, on 18 May 1918.2 He died on 10 October 1931 at age 60 at Ashwells, Earl's Colne, Essex, EnglandG.1

     Marie Eliza Currie was the daughter of Robert George Currie and Annie Flora MacKinnon.2,3 She married Lt.-Col. Penton Shakespear Lowis, son of Lt.-Col. Ninian Lowis and Selina Caroline Shakespear, on 18 May 1918.1 She died on 30 March 1960, without issue.1
     From 18 May 1918, her married name became Lowis.2

     Robert George Currie was born on 4 July 1835.2 He was the son of Sir Frederick Currie, 1st Bt. and Lucy Elizabeth Bird.3 He married, firstly, Fanny Catherine Ouseley Macrae, daughter of Alexander C. Macrae, on 26 April 1866.2 He married, secondly, Annie Flora MacKinnon, daughter of A. K. MacKinnon, on 5 August 1872.2 He died on 13 June 1880 at age 44.2
     He was with the Bengal Civil Service.1
