     He was Assistant Commissary General of Corfu.¹

     Sophia Tatton was born at Wythenshaw Hall, Northenden, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas William Tatton and Emma Grey.¹ She married Lt.-Col. John Dixon, son of John Dixon and Lydia Parker, on 14 May 1840.² She died in 1885.²
     From 14 May 1840, her married name became Dixon.

     Catherine Emily Rendel was born in 1840 at Plymouth, Devon, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of James Meadows Rendel and Catherine Jane Harris.¹ She married Clement Francis Wedgwood, son of Francis Wedgwood and Frances Mosley, on 6 November 1866 at St. John Southwick Crescent, Kensington, London, England^G.¹ She died on 6 April 1921.²
     She was also known as Emily Catherine Rendel.² From 6 November 1866, her married name became Wedgwood.

     Clement Francis Wedgwood was born on 25 February 1840 at Eturia, Staffordshire, England^G.^1,2 He was the son of Francis Wedgwood and Frances Mosley.¹ He married Catherine Emily Rendel, daughter of James Meadows Rendel and Catherine Jane Harris, on 6 November 1866 at St. John Southwick Crescent, Kensington, London, England^G.¹ He died on 24 January 1889 at age 48.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th North Staffordshire Militia.² He was master potter of Etruria.² He lived at Barlaston Lea, Staffordshire, England.²

     Francis Hamilton Wedgwood was born on 9 October 1867 at London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Clement Francis Wedgwood and Catherine Emily Rendel.¹ He married Katharine Gwendoline Piggott, daughter of Reverend Edmund Vincent Piggott, on 11 September 1902.² He died on 29 October 1930 at age 63.²
     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, England.² He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire.² He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th North Staffordshire Regiment.² He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Staffordshire.² He was chairman of Josiah Wedgwood and Sons between 1916 and 1930.² He lived at Barlaston Lea, Staffordshire, England.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Staffordshire in 1929.²
