     From 9 May 1821, her married name became Akers.

     Reverend Aretas Akers was born on 18 November 1824.¹ He was the son of Aretas Akers and Isabella Larking.² He married Frances Maria Brandram, daughter of Francis Holles Brandram, on 7 August 1849.¹ He died on 18 May 1900 at age 75.¹
     He graduated from Worcester College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He lived at Malling Abbey, Kent, England^G.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Charles Style Akers was born on 21 September 1828.¹ He was the son of Aretas Akers and Isabella Larking.² He married Henrietta Margaret Despard, daughter of General unknown Despard, on 16 October 1851.¹ He died in 1887.¹
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Engineers.¹ He had seven other children.¹

     General unknown Despard was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Henrietta Margaret Despard was the daughter of General unknown Despard.² She married Maj.-Gen. Charles Style Akers, son of Aretas Akers and Isabella Larking, on 16 October 1851.¹ She died on 2 May 1903.¹
     From 16 October 1851, her married name became Akers.

     Charles Edmund Akers was born in 1861.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Charles Style Akers and Henrietta Margaret Despard.² He married Charlotte Mabel Dwight.¹
