     Iris Florence Biles was the daughter of Sir John Biles.1 She married, firstly, Professor Robert Latta before 1935.1 She married, secondly, Robert Chalmers, 1st and last Baron Chalmers, son of John Chalmers and Julia Mackay, on 1 June 1935.1 She died on 24 June 1966.2
     From before 1935, her married name became Latta.1 From 1 June 1935, her married name became Chalmers.1

     He was educated at Bradfield School, EnglandG.1 He was educated between 1908 and 1909 at Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated between 1909 and 1910 at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was commissioned in 1910, in the service of the Suffolk Regiment.1 He was Aide-de-Camp of the Governor of Ceylon between 1913 and 1914.1 He fought in the First World War.2 He gained the rank of Captain in 1915.2

     Francis Allston Channing, 1st and last Baron Channing of Wellingborough was born on 21 March 1841 at Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S.A.G.1 He was the son of Reverend Williiam Henry Channing and Julia Maria Allen.1 He married Elizabeth Bryant, daughter of Henry Bryant and Elizabeth Brimmer Sohier, on 21 July 1869 at Trinity Church, Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.G.1 He died on 20 February 1926 at age 84 at 32 Arlington Road, Eastbourne, Sussex, EnglandG, without surviving male issue.1 He was buried on 24 February 1926 at Torquay Cemetery, Torquay, Devon, EnglandG.1
     He was educated at Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was a lecturer and tutor in philosophy at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He was naturalized as a British citizen on 21 July 1883.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for East Northampton between 1885 and 1910.1 He was Member of the Royal Commission on Agricultural Depression between 1893 and 1896.1 He was created 1st Baronet Channing [U.K.] on 3 December 1906.1 He was created 1st Baron Channing of Wellingborough, of Wellingborough, co.
