John Michael Ward Bingham, 7th Baron Clanmorris of Newbrook was born on 3 November 1908.1 He was the son of Arthur Maurice Robert Bingham, 6th Baron Clanmorris of Newbrook and Mowbray Leila Cloete.1 He married Madeleine Mary Ebel, daughter of Clement Ebel, on 28 July 1934.1 He died on 6 August 1988 at age 79.1
He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War, with the Royal Engineers and attached to the General Staff.2 He was an author (as John Bingham) of detective novels.2 He succeeded as the 7th Baron Clanmorris of Newbrook, co. Mayo [I., 1800] on 24 June 1960.1
