Andrew Watson Cheyne was born on 15 October 1921.1 He was the son of Sir Joseph Lister Cheyne of Leagarth, 2nd Bt. and Nelita Manfield Pringle.2 He married Joyce Mary Stanton, daughter of Conway Stanton, on 21 December 1946.1 He died on 25 April 2014 at age 92.3
