Caroline Augusta Littleton, on 22 July 1863 at Ayot St. Lawrence, Hertfordshire, England^G.^1,3 She died on 2 August 1905 at age 59 at Wheathampstead House, Hertfordshire, England^G, from heart failure.² She was buried on 5 August 1905 at Ayot St. Lawrence, Hertfordshire, England^G.²

     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1916.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dorset.¹
