     Norah Isabel Sherston is the daughter of Lt.-Col. John Sherston.² She married, firstly, Robert Harris Temple Handcock, son of Edward Stanley Handcock and Lucy Eleanor Archer, on 30 December 1907.¹ She married, secondly, Captain Henry Edmund Harvey Spencer-Cooper on 18 August 1917.¹
     From 30 December 1907, her married name became Handcock. From 18 August 1917, her married name became Spencer-Cooper.¹

     Commander William Stanley Handcock was born on 26 October 1908.¹ He was the son of Robert Harris Temple Handcock and Norah Isabel Sherston.² He married Joan Mary Combe, daughter of Sir Ralph Molyneux Combe and Effie Lee Woodhouse, on 5 December 1933.¹ He died on 25 January 1954 at age 45.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹

     Sir Ralph Molyneux Combe is the son of Maj.-Gen. James John Coombe. He married Effie Lee Woodhouse, daughter of Henry Melvill Woodhouse and Mary Lateward Berkeley.
     He lived at Bunce's Shaw, Farley Hill, Berkshire, England^G.¹

     Joan Mary Combe was the daughter of Sir Ralph Molyneux Combe and Effie Lee Woodhouse.² She married Commander William Stanley Handcock, son of Robert Harris Temple Handcock and Norah Isabel Sherston, on 5 December 1933.¹ She died on 17 April 2004.³
     She lived at Sparshott House, Hambledon, Hampshire, England^G.¹ From 5 December 1933, her married name became Handcock.

     Timothy Stannus Handcock was born on 20 May 1938.¹ He is the son of Commander William Stanley Handcock and Joan Mary Combe.²
     He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, England^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at Holmwood Cottage, Stroud, Petersfield, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Deirdre Elizabeth Handcock was born on 16 June 1935.¹ She is the daughter of Commander William Stanley Handcock and Joan Mary Combe.² She married Captain Colin Prinsep James, son of Colonel Cecil Paulglase James, on 17 September 1960.¹
     From 17 September 1960, her married name became James.

     Colonel Cecil Paulglase James lived at Meadowfield, Cranleigh, Surrey, England^G.¹ He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) and bar.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.¹

     Captain Colin Prinsep James was the son of Colonel Cecil Paulglase James.² He married Deirdre Elizabeth Handcock, daughter of Commander William Stanley Handcock and Joan Mary Combe, on 17 September 1960.¹ He died on 22 July 1992.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     Emma Louise James was born on 20 June 1962.¹ She is the daughter of Captain Colin Prinsep James and Deirdre Elizabeth Handcock.² She married Ashley Desmond Payne, son of Michael Shears Payne and Hon. Joan Spring Rice, on 10 September 1998.²
     From 10 September 1998, her married name became Payne.¹ She lived in 2003 at 19 Drakefield Road, London, England^G.¹

     Mary Vane was born on 19 February 1696.² She was the daughter of Lionel Vane and Catherine Fletcher.¹ She was baptised on 12 March 1696 at Long Newton, County Durham, England.² She married John Spearman.¹
