     Hon. Simon Walter Erskine Stuart was born on 22 August 1930.¹ He was the son of Arthur Stuart, 7th Earl Castle Stewart and Eleanor May Guggenheim.² He married Deborah Jane Mounsey, daughter of Michael J. Mounsey, on 26 May 1973.¹ He died on 19 September 2002 at age 72.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1953 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Scots Guards.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was an assistant master between 1963 and 1978 at King's School, Canterbury, Kent, England^G.¹ He was a writer.¹

     Michael J. Mounsey lived at Backhouse, Appleby, Murton, Cumbria, England^G.¹
