Sir Felix Cassel, 1st Bt. was born on 16 September 1869 at Cologne, GermanyG.2 He was the son of M. S. Cassel and Wilhelmina Cassel.3,2 He married Lady Helen Grimston, daughter of James Walter Grimston, 3rd Earl of Verulam and Margaret Frances Graham, on 18 November 1908.1 He died on 22 February 1953 at age 83 at Midhurst, Sussex, EnglandG.2
He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1894 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He was appointed King's Counsel (K.C.) in 1906.1 He held the office of Member of the London County Council between 1907 and 1910.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)
