Sir Christopher Robert Carden, 5th Bt. was born on 24 November 1946.1 He is the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Henry Christopher Carden, 4th Bt. and Jane St. Clare Daniell.2 He married, firstly, Sainimere Rokotuibau in 1972.1 He and Sainimere Rokotuibau were divorced in 1979.1 He married, secondly, Clarita Peralta in 1981.1 He and Clarita Peralta were divorced in 1996.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He graduated from University of Aberdeen, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, ScotlandG, in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Sir Robert Walter Carden, 1st Bt. was born on 7 October 1801.1 He was the son of James Carden and Mary Walter.2 He married Pamela Elizabeth Edith Andrews, daughter of William Smith Andrews, on 1 January 1827.1 He died on 19 January 1888 at age 86.2

Lt.-Col. Sir Frederick Walter Carden, 2nd Bt. was born on 6 November 1833.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Walter Carden, 1st Bt. and Pamela Elizabeth Edith Andrews.2 He married Rowena Laura Ronald, daughter of Rowand Ronald, on 23 September 1870.1 He died on 4 December 1909 at age 76.2
He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 5th Lancers.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Carden, of Molesey [U.K., 1887] on 19 January 1888.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Hampshire in 1891.1
