Margaret Powditch was born on 29 March 1779.2 She was the daughter of Thomas Powditch and Elizabeth Watt.3,2 She was baptised on 9 December 1779 at Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, EnglandG.2 She married Reverend Henry Byron, son of Rev. Hon. Richard Byron and Mary Farmer, on 18 June 1803 at St. Martin's-in-the-Fields, London, EnglandG.1,2 She died on 14 September 1813 at age 34.1

Henry Byron was born on 17 April 1804.1 He was the son of Reverend Henry Byron and Margaret Powditch.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Josephine Bradley, daughter of James Byron Bradley, in April 1834.1 He married, secondly, Josephine Berthomieux in 1859.1 He died on 4 May 1884 at age 80.1
