Colonel Hon. Guy Greville Wilson was born on 19 May 1877.2 He was the son of Charles Henry Wilson, 1st Baron Nunburnholme and Florence Jane Helen Wellesley.1,2 He married, firstly, Lady Isabel Innes-Ker, daughter of James Henry Robert Innes-Ker, 7th Duke of Roxburghe and Lady Anne Emily Spencer-Churchill, on 23 June 1904.2 He married, secondly, Avery Buxton, daughter of Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Fowell Buxton and Mary Harbord, on 22 May 1911.1 He died on 1 February 1943 at age 65.2
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He gained the rank of officer in the 11th Hussars.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1902.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hull between 1907 and 1918.2 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the East Riding, Yorkshire.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the East Riding, Yorkshire.2
