     Trevor Thomas Lethem Overend was born on 1 January 1847 at Portadown, County Armagh, Ireland.² He was the son of John Overend and Anne Lethem.² He married Elizabeth Anne Butler, daughter of William Paul Butler and Letitia Maria Gray, in September 1879 at South Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.^1,2 He died on 8 April 1919 at age 72 at 26 Upper Pembroke Street, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.^1,2

     Helen Williamina Butler was the daughter of William Paul Butler and Letitia Maria Gray.² She died on 8 March 1947, unmarried.¹

     James Thomas Butler was born on 6 June 1825.¹ He was the son of James Butler and Maria Charlton.² He married Adelaide Maria K'Eogh, daughter of G. R. K'Eogh, on 2 August 1859.¹ He died on 20 July 1910 at age 85.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Carlow.¹ He held the office of Resident Magistrate (R.M.) for County Kilkenny.¹

     G. R. K'Eogh lived at Kilbride, County Carlow, Ireland^G.¹

     Adelaide Maria K'Eogh was the daughter of G. R. K'Eogh.² She married James Thomas Butler, son of James Butler and Maria Charlton, on 2 August 1859.¹ She died on 3 December 1911.¹
     From 2 August 1859, her married name became Butler.

     Charles Richard Butler was born on 21 June 1860.¹ He was the son of James Thomas Butler and Adelaide Maria K'Eogh.² He married Ethel Elizabeth Jane Newton, daughter of Philip Charles Newton and Mary Garrett Bathe, in 1895.³ He died on 20 October 1932 at age 72.¹
     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Carlow in 1920.¹

     Philip Charles Newton was born on 10 September 1837.¹ He was the son of Henry Newton and Elizabeth Jane Doyne.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Garrett Bathe, daughter of Colonel John William Bathe, on 1 August 1864.¹ He married, secondly, Ellen Skelton, daughter of George Hougham Skelton, on 24 October 1891.¹ He died on 23 February 1902 at age 64.¹
     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Carlow in 1869.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Carlow.² He lived at Mount Leinster, Borris, County Carlow, Ireland^G.¹

     Ethel Elizabeth Jane Newton was the daughter of Philip Charles Newton and Mary Garrett Bathe.^2,3 She married Charles Richard Butler, son of James Thomas Butler and Adelaide Maria K'Eogh, in 1895.³ She died on 1 April 1943.¹
     From 1895, her married name became Butler.³ She lived at Mount Leinster, Borris, County Carlow, Ireland^G.³

     G/Capt. James Humphrey Butler was born on 30 June 1897.¹ He was the son of Charles Richard Butler and Ethel Elizabeth Jane Newton.² He married, firstly, Marguerite Kathleen Louise Hale, daughter of John Hale, on 12 August 1925.¹ He married, secondly, Freda Mary Peto, daughter of F. E. Peto, on 3 August 1939.¹ He died on 2 March 1979 at age 81 at Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England.^1,3
     He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded twice.¹ He fought in the North-West Frontier between 1919 and 1920.¹ He gained the rank of Group Captain in the Royal Air Force.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹
