     Joseph Moses Levy was born on 15 December 1811.1 He was the son of Moses Lionel Levy and Leah (?)1 He married Esther Cohen, daughter of Godfrey Alexander Cohen, in 1830.1 He died on 13 October 1888 at age 76.1
     He was He was the founder of the Daily Telegraph.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at 51 Grosvenor Street, London, EnglandG.1 He lived at Florence Cottage, Ramsgate, Kent, EnglandG.1

     Esther Cohen was born in 1816.2 She was the daughter of Godfrey Alexander Cohen.1 She married Joseph Moses Levy, son of Moses Lionel Levy and Leah (?), in 1830.1 She died on 2 March 1884.1
     From 1830, her married name became Levy.

     Edward Levy-Lawson, 1st Baron Burnham was born on 28 December 1833 at London, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Joseph Moses Levy and Esther Cohen.1 He married Harriette Georgiana Webster, daughter of Benjamin Nottingham Webster and Elizabeth Moon, on 20 February 1862 at Parish Church, Kennington, Kent, EnglandG.2 He died on 9 January 1916 at age 82 at 20 Norfolk Street, London, EnglandG.2 He was buried at Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.2
     He was given the name of Edward Levy at birth.1 He was educated at London University School, London, EnglandG.1 On 11 December 1875 his name was legally changed to Edward Levy-Lawson by Royal Licence.1 He was registered as a High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire in 1886.1 He was principal propreitor of the Daily Telegraph.1 He held the office of Lieutenant of the City of London.1 He was created 1st Baronet Levy-Lawson, of Hall Barn, Beaconsfield, co. Bucks [U.K.] on 13 October 1892.1 He was awarded the Commander, Order of the Rising Sun of Japan.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Buckinghamshire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Buckinghamshire.1 He was created 1st Baron Burnham, of Hall Barn, Beaconsfield, co. Bucks [U.K.] on 31 July 1903.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1904.1

     Sir George Faudel-Philips, 1st Bt. was born in 1840.2 He was the son of Sir Benjamin Samuel Phillips.2 He married Helen Levy, daughter of Joseph Moses Levy and Esther Cohen, on 17 April 1867.3 He died on 28 December 1922.3
     He was appointed Knight Grand Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (G.C.I.E.)3 He gained the title of 1st Baronet Faudel-Phillips.
