Mary Scudamore was the daughter of Sir James Scudamore and Mary Throckmorton.1 She married Sir Giles Brydges, 1st Bt., son of Hon. Charles Brydges and Jane Carne. She died before September 1634.1 She was buried at Peterstowe, Herefordshire, EnglandG.1

Sir John Brydges, 2nd Bt. was born in 1623.1 He was the son of Sir Giles Brydges, 1st Bt. and Mary Scudamore.1 He married Mary Pearle, daughter of James Pearle.2 He died on 21 February 1651/52 at Bridges Street, Covent Gardens, London, EnglandG, from small pox.1 He was buried at Peterstowe, Herefordshire, EnglandG.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 10 March 1651/52.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Brydges, of Wilton, co. Hereford [E., 1627] on 12 September 1637.1 He matriculated at Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 4 May 1638.1 His castle at Wilton was burnt by the Royalists, and so he took up with the Parliamentarians, and was instrumental in the surprise of Hereford by the Parliamentarians.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Brydges, of Wilton, co. Sir William Powell, 1st Bt. was the son of Anne Powell. He married Katherine Zouche, daughter of Richard Zouche and Sarah Hart, on 22 May 1649.2 He married, secondly, Mary Pearle, daughter of James Pearle, after 1652.1 He died in 1681.1
He was given the name of William Hinson at birth. He was also known as William Powell.1 He was created 1st Baronet Powell, of Pengethly, co. Hereford [England] on 23 January 1660/61.1

Alexander Abernethy, 4th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy was the son of James Abernethy, 3rd Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and unknown wife (?)2,3 He married unknown daughter Stewart, daughter of James Stewart, 1st Earl of Buchan and Margaret Ogilvy.2 He died before 25 July 1527.1
He succeeded as the 4th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy [S., 1445] in 1505.2 He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513.2 Between 1514 and 1517 he bought much land in Banffshire.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] before September 1514.2
