     Sir George Browne was the son of George Browne and Ellinor Blount.1 He died circa December 1678.1 He was buried on 7 December 1678 at Shefford, Berkshire, EnglandG.1
     He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) in 1661.1

     Gertrude Morley married Sir George Browne, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Browne, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Bradley, on 2 May 1699 at Charter House Chapel, London, EnglandG.1 She died before July 1720.1 She died intestate and her estate was administered on 2 July 1720 at St. Gile's-in-the-Fields, London, EnglandG.1 She died intestate and her estate was administered on 12 June 1730.1
     She lived at St. James', Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 From 2 May 1699, her married name became Browne.1

     Prudence Thorold was the daughter of Charles Thorold and Anne Clarke.1 She married Sir George Browne, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Browne, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Bradley, on 5 February 1721/22 at Gray's Inn Chapel, London, EnglandG.1 She died on 19 December 1725 at Covent Gardens, London, EnglandG.1 She was buried at St. Andrew's Church, Undershaft, London, EnglandG.1 Her will was proven (by probate) on 3 March 1725.1
     From 5 February 1721/22, her married name became Browne.1

Sir John Browne, 5th Bt.1

     Sir John Browne, 5th Bt. was the son of Sir George Browne, 4th Bt. and Gertrude Morley.1 He died on 21 January 1775 at Sunning, Berkshire, EnglandG, without issue, probably unmarried.1 His will (dated 7 January 1775) was proven (by probate) on 2 March 1775, leaving everything to his servamt, Mary Smyth.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Browne, of Caversham, co. Oxford [E., 1665] on 20 February 1729/30.1
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
