W. Jacobs, on 29 July 1919 at St. Peter's Church, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.4 He and Barbara Annis Jacobs were divorced on 1 February 1923 with a decree on nullity.4 He married, secondly, Joan Chirnside, daughter of Andrew Chirnside, on 25 October 1932 at Chelsea Old Church, Chelsea, London, EnglandG.4 He married, thirdly, Virginia Sorenson in 1969.4 He died on 3 September 1981 at age 83 at Tampa, Florida, U.S.A.G, after suffering a stroke two weeks earlier.1
