     Amcotts Broughton was born circa 1675.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Broughton, 2nd Bt. and Rhoda Amcotts.1 He died on 14 September 1700.1 He was buried at St. Anne's, Soho, London, EnglandG.1

     Sir Brian Broughton, 3rd Bt. was born on 19 September 1677.1,3 He was the son of Sir Thomas Broughton, 2nd Bt. and Rhoda Amcotts.1 He married Elizabeth Delves, daughter of Sir Thomas Delves, 4th Bt. and Jane Knightley, on 10 February 1709/10.1,3 He died on 12 September 1724 at age 46 at Broughton, Staffordshire, EnglandG, from yellow jaundice and dropsy.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 16 October 1724.1
     He graduated from Christ's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1699 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Broughton, of Broughton, co. Stafford [E., 1661] before 1710.1 He held the office of Gentleman of the Bedchamber.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newcastle between 1715 and 1724.1

     Elizabeth Delves was the daughter of Sir Thomas Delves, 4th Bt. and Jane Knightley.1 She married Sir Brian Broughton, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Broughton, 2nd Bt. and Rhoda Amcotts, on 10 February 1709/10.1,2 She died on 2 January 1746.1 Her will was proven (by probate) on 3 March 1746.1
     From 10 February 1709/10, her married name became Broughton.1

Sir Thomas Delves, 4th Bt.1

     Sir Thomas Delves, 4th Bt. was born on 4 October 1652.2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Delves, 3rd Bt. He married, firstly, Jane Knightley, daughter of Sir Richard Knightley. He married, secondly, Lady Elizabeth Booth, daughter of Henry Booth, 1st Earl of Warrington and Mary Langham.3 He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Barker, daughter of Andrew Barker.2 He married, fourthly, Rhoda Huband, daughter of Sir John Huband, 2nd Bt. and Rhoda Broughton.2 He died on 12 September 1725 at age 72.2
     He gained the title of 4th Baronet Delves, of Doddington, Shropshire.

Sir Richard Knightley1

     Sir Richard Knightley was born in 1617.2 He was the son of Richard Knightley and Jane Littleton.3,4 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Hampden, daughter of John Hampden and Elizabeth Simeon, circa 1637.3,2 He married, secondly, Ann Courteen, daughter of Sir William Courten and unknown daughter Tryon, after 1643.5 He died in 1661.2
     He was admitted to Gray's Inn on 17 May 1633.5 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Northampton.3,2 In May 1640 after the dissolution of the Short Parliament, he invited Hampden, Pym, and other of the opposition leaders to meet at Fawsley to concert a plan of action.5 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) on 30 January 1648/49.1,3 He lived at Fawsley, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.3

Sir Brian Broughton-Delves, 4th Bt.1

     Sir Brian Broughton-Delves, 4th Bt. was born on 6 January 1717/18.1 He was the son of Sir Brian Broughton, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Delves.1 He married Mary Forester, daughter of William Forester and Catherine Brooke, on 21 May 1738 at John's Square, St. James', Clerkenwell, London, EnglandG.1 He was also reported to have been married on 2 May 1738.2 He died on 11 August 1744 at age 26.1
     He was given the name of Brian Broughton at birth.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Broughton, of Broughton, co. Stafford [E., 1661] on 12 September 1724.1 On 12 September 1727 his name was legally changed to Brian Broughton-Delves.1 He was educated in 1734 at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He matriculated at Queen's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 7 July 1735.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wenlock between 1741 and 1744.1
