Wilfrid Brougham was born on 22 January 1842.¹ He was the son of William Brougham, 2nd Baron Brougham and Vaux and Emily Frances Taylor.¹ He married, firstly, Francesca Vignati, daughter of Gaetano Vignati, on 4 June 1863.¹ He married, secondly, Maria Sophia Faunce, daughter of Colonel unknown Faunce, in 1901.¹ He died on 2 November 1904 at age 62.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 17th Lancers.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 10th Hussars.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Westmorland and Cumberland Yeomanry.¹

     Francesca Vignati was the daughter of Gaetano Vignati.¹ She married Hon. Wilfrid Brougham, son of William Brougham, 2nd Baron Brougham and Vaux and Emily Frances Taylor, on 4 June 1863.¹ She died on 4 March 1901.¹
     From 4 June 1863, her married name became Brougham.¹

     Maria Sophia Faunce was the daughter of Colonel unknown Faunce.¹ She married Hon. Wilfrid Brougham, son of William Brougham, 2nd Baron Brougham and Vaux and Emily Frances Taylor, in 1901.¹ She died on 20 June 1936.¹
     From 1901, her married name became Brougham.¹

     Colonel unknown Faunce gained the rank of Colonel in the 4th King's Own Regiment.¹

     Wilfrid Francis Brougham was born on 25 November 1864.¹ He was the son of Hon. Wilfrid Brougham and Francesca Vignati.¹ He married Matilda Caroline Macgregor, daughter of Alexander Donald Macgregor, on 27 November 1889.¹ He died in January 1938 at age 73.¹
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.¹ He graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1888 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was a practising solicitor, Supreme Court of British Columbia.¹
