Sir Charles Bromfield, 3rd Bt. was born circa 1672.1 He was the son of Charles Bromfield.1 He married Theodosia Steele, daughter of John Steele.1 He died on 6 September 1733 at Barton under Needwood, Staffordshire, EnglandG, without male issue.1
He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Bromfield, of Southwark, co. Surrey [E., 1661] on 17 February 1703/4.1
On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

The territorial Barony and estate of Kinloch, which had been forfeited at his attainder, were bought by friends and restored to him.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Kinloch, of Kinloch, co. Fife [N.S., 1685] in 1744.1 He was pardoned.1 In 1746 he was attainted and sentenced to death as a Jacobite following the Uprising but he escaped to France.1,4
