John Campbell, 4th of Islay and of Woodhall1

     John Campbell, 4th of Islay and of Woodhall was the son of Walter Campbell, 9th of Skipness and 3rd of Shawfield and Eleanora Kerr.2,3 He married Lady Charlotte Susan Maria Campbell, daughter of Field Marshal John Campbell, 5th Duke of Argyll and Elizabeth Gunning, Baroness Hamilton of Hameldon, on 21 June 1796.2 He died on 15 March 1809.2
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Argyllshire Militia.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Arygll and Ayr.4 He lived at Shawfield, ScotlandG.5

Reverend Edward John Bury1

     Reverend Edward John Bury was born in 1790. He married Lady Charlotte Susan Maria Campbell, daughter of Field Marshal John Campbell, 5th Duke of Argyll and Elizabeth Gunning, Baroness Hamilton of Hameldon, on 17 March 1818.1 He died in 1832.1
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2

     Margaret Lucas was born in 1617.2 She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Lucas and Elizabeth Leighton.2,3 She was also reported to have been born in 1623 at Colchester, Essex, England.4 She married William Cavendish, 1st Duke of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, son of Sir Charles Cavendish and Catherine Ogle, Baroness Ogle, circa December 1645.2 She died on 15 December 1673, without issue.2
     Margaret Lucas also went by the nick-name of 'Mad Madge of Newcastle'.2 From circa December 1645, her married name became Cavendish. She has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.5

     She lived.1 Her married name became Arbuthnott.1
     She had a younger son and four daughters by her husband, David.1

     Carl XII von Holstein-Gottorp, King of Sweden was born on 17 June 1682. He was the son of Carl XI von Holstein-Gottorp, King of Sweden and Ulrike Eleanore Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark.3 He died on 11 December 1718 at age 36 at Halden, NorwayG, killed in action.
     He succeeded as the King Carl XII of Sweden in 1697.1 He fought in the siege of Halden in December 1718.
